Our Alaskan stones are hand and eye selected for their good looks. The rocks are not common rocks, rather they are exceptionally attractive for their beautiful colors, interesting variation, and appropriate (lamp) shape.

Each rock base is paired with a color-coordinated shade to produce a well matched lamp. As you know, not everybody has the same sense of taste, so you are not locked into the lamp that we think is ideal. You may mix and match for yourself. Stone bases can be purchased without a shade too.
