Here are some
pictures of the fantastic land that we live in and collect our Alaskan
rocks. Click on these pictures and they will get larger.

1. This shows the gravel bar
in the Alaska Range where we get our rocks.
2. Connors Bog trail in
Anchorage close to where we live.
3. High bush cranberry leaves
in autumn colors.
4. Autumn colors of fireweed
before we put them in our shades.
5. Our front yard in December
2003.
6. Knik Arm with ice floes and
the highest and fourth highest mountains in North American on the horizon.
Knik Arm has the second highest tidal fluctuation in North America too.
7. Snow drifts formed after
strong and cold bora
type winds that kept Anchorageites pinned down for a few days in January
2004.
(Oops, I may not the kinks out of the links on these photos
yet.)
8. A lighted ski trail at
Anchorage's Kincaid Park.
9. The Christmas wreath from our
front door after a moose had the portion left of the bow for lunch.
10. Sunshine spotlighting some of
the devils club plants at Kincaid Park.
11. This is Stone Age Alaska's
new rock rack for doing our traveling rock shows. This was a juried
Christmas show at the Anchorage Museum of History and Art. We sold quite a
few lamps and shades at this show.
12. Ah winter after a dumping of
the white stuff (a major snow event).
